Mission statement
The purpose and goal of the DuPage County Building Trades Council is:
- To promote the unionized construction industry within DuPage County.
- To maintain harmony and cooperation between all crafts, contractors,
general contractors, and the customer. - To help supply the skilled labor necessary to complete the owners’ project on time, on budget, and with the best value for their dollar.
- To help our members maintain a standard of living that will allow them the security and happiness every citizen should be entitled to in exchange for a fair day’s work.

The 2025 DuPage County Trade Apprenticeship Expo
The 2025 DuPage County Trade Apprenticeship Expo will be held on Thursday, November 6th, 2025 from 3:30pm – 6:00pm. This annual event, sponsored by the DuPage County Building & Construction Trades Council and CISCO, offers opportunities to meet with various trade affiliates, their training directors, and instructors to learn more about each individual apprenticeship program.
The 2024 DuPage County Trade Apprenticeship Expo
The 2024 DuPage County Trade Apprenticeship Expo was held on Thursday, October 24th from 3:30pm – 6:30pm with over 600 students, parents, career counselors and educators in attendance. The event featured interactive, hands-on demonstrations by our building trade organizations as well as opportunities to meet with instructors to learn more about each individual trade apprenticeship program.
